Import Office Administrator required for a Wythenshawe based company
Your new company
Based in Wythenshawe your new company who specialise in import and export of products are seeking a new Import Office Administartor to join their small team.
Your new role
A varied and responsible role, you will:-
Liaise with order processing coordinator regarding all import orders .
Record all shipments that are coming on the board and open a file for each one allocating a job number.
Deal with all import shipments
Go on shipping line website and monitor vessel movement status.
Monitor vessel arrival date and liaise for final payment to be made to supplier & email supplier with copy for BL Keep track and chase supplier for any delay in BL release.
Deal with freight forwarders and Liaise with sales/director.
Check & pass all shipping charges invoices to accounts for payment.
Review charges of shipping /haulage companies and get new quotes.
Other Import duties as requested.
The person will be required to cover for the order processing coordinator during holidays and vice versa.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have experience within the Import business in an office Administration capacity.
Understand Import and processes.
Articulate with excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
