Assistive Technology Project Assistant
£21,598 to £23,836 per annum
37 hours per week
Based at Harvey Road, Bilborough, Nottingham, NG83BB

We are looking for someone to join our Assistive Technology team with passion and enthusiasm for helping others, particularly elderly and vulnerable tenants.
You will be based in Nottingham on Call our 24/7 call centre providing specialist advice and support to elderly and disabled residents across Nottingham City and surrounding areas who use our Telecare emergency response systems.
An integral part of our Assistive Technology Team you will be responsible for effective management of all of our assistive technology equipment ensuring that appropriate levels of equipment are maintained. You will support with researching and assessing new and existing technologies and with the co-ordination and delivery of training to internal staff and external agencies in order that they develop a full understanding of the potential of assistive technology.
We will look to you to support the service area with being a first point of contact for Health and Care professionals and providing customers with advice on the most appropriate Assistive Technology equipment meet their needs. You will also support the Assistive Technology team leader with the collation and analysis of a variety of performance data.
To excel in this role, you will need to utilise your excellent communications skills, being able to communicate complex and sensitive issues effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. This role will be working in a fast paced and challenging area of the business, and as such we are looking for someone with the ability to prioritise workloads, demonstrate self- motivation and continually demonstrate a customer focused approach to your work.
