Farrow & Ball are recruiting for a Business Development Manager (BDM) on a one year fixed term contract to support their UK Sales team.
The role will involve managing and developing third-party relationships in national accounts and independent businesses across the West Central Territory which includes – North Wales, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, York and other locations within the region. The BDM will also be responsible for prospecting and identifying new independent relationships with potential stockists, Trade Book Holders and Original Equipment Manufacturers to maximise sales.
The BDM will be required to develop detailed account plans to drive growth and provide merchandising and training support along with effective communications and marketing activities to all third parties. They will also be tasked with meeting stretching quarterly sales targets across all relevant third-party channels.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team and assist or carry out other duties during periods of high workload, sickness, holidays and emergencies. They must be willing to travel extensively with a full and current driving license with no disqualifications.
