Role profile Commercial management is about maximising profits and minimising risks in any commercial activity. In a nutshell, managing contracts gives you an opportunity to work with customers, suppliers, partners and a wide range of BT colleagues from a wide range of professions. You’ll have the opportunity to develop critical business skills such as commercial contracting, business law, risk management, negotiations, finance & accounting, project management, customer relationships, change management, stakeholder & supplier management, plus a whole heap more. You’ll become a well-rounded, commercially savvy professional whose skills will be in high demand in any commercial organisation. Some say it’s like running your ‘own’ business. Our Commercial Management graduates gain exposure within the teams that are at the heart of ensuring we are gaining new business and keeping hold of the clients we already have.
