The Education Service is focused on continued improvement in the service to ensure every child and young person in Essex receives the best possible education and their individual needs are met. The Workforce Development team will deliver a professional development programme to equip the education workforce to meet the challenges ahead for education.
This role is focused on the co-ordination of external development and training to ensure delivery is to a high standard, is consistent and offers high quality of outputs. This will be monitored on a regular basis by robust analysis and evaluation of learning using a number of tools to record activity and evaluate different courses. It will incorporate the planning process with evidence of aptitude and gaps in knowledge and experience that needs to be addressed.
The successful candidate will lead on the marketing of our traded services across the Education Directorate. The role requires experience on using different media to promote training and development programmes which will vary in style and approach dependant on the audience and the learning being offered.
The successful candidate will be an experienced individual, able to prioritise and plan activity as required and flexible to respond to new challenges and highlighted risks.
