Overseeing a team and supporting their development. Acting as a sounding board and coach and mentoring the Area Cleaning Managers to enable them to effectively manage their teams. Through your focus on shared self awareness, coaching and mentoring you shape our colleagues to learn, grow and achieve more
Providing strategic direction to the team related to the development of the service, operational effectiveness and set a vision/approach that enables the business to realise its ambitions, whilst remaining nimble and adaptable to the constantly changing environment
With full P&L responsibility, you’ll be accountable for the development of the portfolio-wide operating budget, supporting the development and execution of the budget and plans
Providing strategic insight and knowledge, using data to highlight where we need to adapt and be dynamic in order to be seen as continually progressive in our approach
Remaining constantly aware of the competition and utilising networks and relationships to ensure the wider team are aware of trends and innovation within the sector
Working collaboratively with the wider leadership team to ensure that the various pieces of our service fit together, maintaining an understanding of adjacencies and the priorities of the divisions to help inform growth plans
Constantly challenge how we operate and seek to increase productivity and efficiency whilst driving employee engagement and customer satisfaction levels
Supporting business growth through generating leads and offering complimentary services that provide customers with solutions.
Whilst a background in contract cleaning isn’t essential, it would be beneficial
We are looking for you to demonstrate experience of leading, managing and developing teams within a facilities/soft services background. Proven commercial responsibility over a large multisite function or service would be beneficial
We would benefit from some expertise from someone with an operational facilities/soft services background
Experience in managing contract mobilisation is essential
Knowledge of delivering a consistent high standard of service to customers and demonstrable experience of delivering this in a fast paced, commercial environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate and support a team to be passionate about customer service and strive for excellence in all that they do. You inspire your team, and the people around you, to understand the role they play in contributing to the business’s success
Flexible and adaptable in management style with an understanding of how to embed organisational change. You are consciously adaptable and agile, shifting direction as needed to support the needs of the business
A credible expert, you’ll be able to effectively engage with cross-functional team and will have exceptional listening, communication and influencing skills
You work smart – always looking for ways to optimise team effectiveness through speed, efficiency and productivity
Commercially astute and financially responsible you’ll be able to recognise opportunities to increase revenue whilst managing a P&L
Experience working autonomously and taking a data-driven approach to drive commercial decisions.
