An amazing opportunity has arisen within a specialist Legal firm! Our client is currently looking for a Practice Manager with Legal experience to oversee day to day operations in their Manchester office.
Our Legal client are extremely well established in their field and have a large number of reputable clients. They are now looking to recruit a Practice Manager into their Manchester office.
The successful candidate must have previous relevant Legal experience
The Practice Manager will be responsible of the day-to-day running of the office such as; Operations, HR, Compliance and Facilities Management:
Operations – Reviewing, developing and monitoring office procedures including work flow, filing and archiving systems to promote efficient working practices and improve service delivery to clients.
Human resources – recruitment, managing employee relation issues (e.g. timekeeping, discipline, grievance and absences), maintaining records, instructing payroll, undertaking performance management and appraisals and on and off boarding
Compliance – Managing and implementing the firm’s compliance with internal and external regulation and certification requirements
Facilities management – Managing the firm’s premises, equipment and other facilities, suppliers and contractors, negotiating and monitoring supplier agreements, insurance policies and leases, procurement of equipment and services
The Practice Manager will be/have:
Experience of practice management in a professional (especially legal) practice
