Project Manager – Engineering/Construction Capital Kit Projects
£60 – 70k + Pension + Benefits Manchester
This expanding global supplier of bespoke capital machinery seeks an ambitious and motivated project manager experienced in delivering capital kit projects on time, to budget and to the right quality.
Skills required in implementing and managing the project plan, key process and internal resource to ensure that product delivered to customers is right first time every time.
A background in managing £5m plus projects is needed. Customer relationship building and excellent internal communication are key elements of the role.
Health and safety policy implementation is also required as well as some structured project management understanding.
Managing projects within a large scale special purpose machinery manufacturer would be an advantage for this role.
CDM regulations and strong documentation and project management methodology such as Prince 2 are also required.

This role is broad and challenging where you will be building project plans, communicating them internally and externally, building key customer relationships and ensuring on time delivery. You will also be involved in costing and quoting, managing internal resources and helping to develop repeat sales opportunities. It is a diverse and varied role managing projects from concept to completion.
The successful candidate will have a strong multiple project management background in an engineering environment (ideally large scale bespoke capital plant) and a proven track record in delivering projects on time, to budget and to the right quality. You also need a good understanding of managing key customer expectations and influencing effectively. You also need experience in all aspects of pricing, managing internal resources and commercial awareness. Above all you need a structured approach to project management which is second to none. CDM regulations and strong documentation and project management methodology such as Prince 2 are also therefore required.
