National Sales Engineer (Field Sales) – £35K – £45K base salary + uncapped commission with a £10K OTE
National Coverage: ideal location North West / Yorkshire / Mids / SE with good motorway links
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience plus uncapped commission, company car, healthcare, pension
THE ROLE: Dealing with decision makers such as Engineering teams, Process Managers and Manufacturing Managers you will be selling a range of equipment and machinery used by these for the production of their finished goods. The position of Sales Engineer will see you taking orders anywhere from £100K-£2M, therefore, we seek to interview those sales professionals who are autonomous, strategic and have the ability to effectively manage a large UK territory. As Sales Engineer for this newly formed organisation (merger between US & Irish companies in 2019) your remit will be to penetrate & develop a range of markets which include, pharmaceutical, food, medical & electronic manufacturing. You will be liaising across a broad spectrum of decision makers ranging from procurement, engineering and board members. Whilst this is quite an autonomous role, you will be heavily supported by a team of 7 engineers. Comprehensive product training is provided with this position
THE PERSON: We are looking for a calibre sales professional who is confident in a new business role. If you have a technical background or experience selling into process lines, we want to hear from you! You will relish developing new business opportunities as well as nurturing existing accounts. Your desire to succeed coupled with your can-do attitude will make you the ideal candidate for the role of Sales Engineer as well as being able to show that you have successfully managed a region, either currently or in the past.
