We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
You will work with the senior HR team to develop the HR function and ensure that it is meeting the strategic objectives of the firm as well as contributing to the development of the people strategy for the UK business. You will build relationships within the business to ensure that HR is a strategic business partner within the client groups, contributing to business planning and strategic discussions by providing commercial advice and support on all HR operational issues as well as support the partners to ensure their business and people strategy is aligned with business objectives. You will be responsible for the for the day to day management, engagement and development of a HR team based in Manchester and Edinburgh.
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong commercial understanding of the practical application of HR and able to quickly build credibility with staff across all levels of the business. You will have strong influencing and negotiating skills understanding and appreciating the need to “take people with you” rather than just implementing policy/ rules. You will possess a flexible approach to dealing with challenging situations whilst remaining professional in order to achieve the right outcome for the business. You will also have previous experience of working within a Professional Services environment, and exposure to senior stake holders.
