Are you an entrepreneurial Life Sciences and Bio-Environment professional with a passion for innovation?
We are searching for an experienced entrepreneurial Senior Project Manager who is a specialist in Life Sciences and Bio-Environment, specifically within the areas of Drug Discovery, Diagnostics, Digital Health and/or Medical Devices. As a project ‘champion’ and technology expert in this area, you will be responsible for owning and driving opportunities through UMI3’s stage gate process. As Senior Project Manager you will take an active part in developing less experienced colleagues and offering support within your specialist area on a day to day basis.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and writing robust business cases and plans for successful spin-out businesses or high value licensing opportunities. As such, an understanding of the big global innovation themes Life Sciences and Bio-Environment is essential as well as a strong technical background in the subject.
Reporting to the Director of Projects, Life Science & Bio Environment the Senior Project Manager will ensure a steady flow of innovative projects which have the potential to generate significant market impact. You will regularly interact and engage with academics to promote new commercialisation initiatives and ensure that exiting innovative ideas are captured.
They will be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be able to collaborate
effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
