The Stores Manager Role:
To direct the Planning, Goods In and distribution operations to ensure that daily and weekly production plans are met in a manner in keeping with the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures of the company
Stores Manager Detailed Tasks
Monitor procedures and processes for the receipt, storage, packing, picking and despatch of products, and maintain written procedures for all processes in line with company and regulatory standards
Attend daily production meetings providing effective communication and implementation of daily and weekly production schedules
Ensure that output is in line with the master production schedule and that delivery requirements are met
Identify and resolve potential shortages and monitor plans and forecasts to ensure that stock-holding, buffer levels and shelf life issues are managed
Manage continuous and annual stock take processes including raw material and components ensuring inventories are accurate and assist with investigations into any that do occur.
Work closely with the management functions to ensure that quality problems, process problems, labour shortages, capacity issues and machine breakdowns are reacted to quickly and that suitable action plans are implemented.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by managing labour and resources efficiently, producing resource plans and a training matrix for the Stores team. Produce regular reports and statistics when required
Reconcile productions plans with transport schedule to achieve dispatch times and make revisions as necessary to maximise plansThe Successful Stores Manager
Able to demonstrate effective leadership, establishing clear expectations, supporting employee engagement and motivation
Proven knowledge of goods control, management and distribution

Salary Circa £34,158 per annum
The hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week:
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to 13:45
