A forward thinking and fast-growing water treatment/water hygiene company, that provides expert advice in the areas of legionella and water treatment to high profile clients across the country, is actively recruiting for the services of a self-driven and commercially focused Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in the Liverpool area. The successful candidate will come from a water treatment service chemist background and will have a proven track record of over-seeing and growing steam boiler, cooling tower and closed system accounts. Consideration will be given to applications from Manchester, Chester, Preston, Bolton and the surrounding areas.
The individual must come from strong chemical, technical, accounts, sales and management background.
Have proven track record working within an account management role and within the water treatment industry.
Ideally, they are looking for an individual who must have hands on experience working with Steam Boilers, Closed Systems, Cooling Towers, etc.
Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry and the industry guidelines.
Must have excellent communication, organisational, presentational, people management, leadership and client-facing skills.
Must have good IT skills.
Purpose of the Role:
Managing and maintaining the company’s diverse portfolio of existing and new accounts – predominately covering the North West area.
Scheduling and managing workloads of water treatment site staff.
Ensuring water treatment engineers meet the demands of the customers effectively and at the same time complying with the L8 and water legislation.
Preparing quotations, tenders and pricing.
Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators.
Conducting chemical analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers, interpretation of results, maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems, etc.
Providing technical advice to the company’s large and mixed portfolio of clients.
Visiting sites and dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively
Getting involved with the training and appraisals.
Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers.
Preparing reports as required by the company.
Dealing with any issues promptly and effectively.
Managing the business well and taking it to the next step.
